The Verbatim Store 'n' Go Secure Portable 2 TB is a particularly secure mobile hard disk. The AES 256-bit hardware encryption secures all data on the drive seamlessly and in real time. The built-in keyboard is for numerical code input. The hard drive does not store passwords on the computer or on the volatile memory of the system and is therefore much more secure than software encryption. If they fall into the wrong hands, the hard drive is locked and must be reformatted after 20 failed password attempts.
