The WD Ultra Star DC HC510 is a hermetically sealed and filled with helium hard disk with a capacity of 10 TB. Since helium has a low density, this "filling" provides less resistance and thus turbulence is effectively reduced. This allows the power consumption and heat generation are greatly reduced. The Ultrastar DC HC510 also provides high capacity and is also suitable for continuous operation.
